I am a new subscripter to your magazine. The June 2008 issue is only my second issue. Wow, what a difference!! I just love your new format. It makes the magazine so much easier to read. And the patterns seem clearer too. I also like the different paper you are using for the cover. It makes the magazine more stable. I have just recently gotten back into crochet so a magazine like this is just perfect. I also would like to compliment you on the projects each issue. You have something for everyone. Crochet is much more than just making sweaters, thank goodness. The reason I really am enjoying your magazine so much is because there is such a nice variety of projects to make. So all I can say is Bravo!!

I wanted to thank you for the new look. I especially love your new back page "Design Directory." That will make it so much easier to find a pattern. Your pattern "Fingerless Cotton Bed Gloves" in your October 2005 "It's a Snap" has been the hit of our town! My 2nd grade daughter went to school one day with a pair I made myself. I have currently now made over 55 pair! Almost the entire 2nd grade and some of their mothers, brothers and sisters as well as a few 3rd and 4th graders of the Brookdale Elementary School own a pair! They can't seem to get enough of them! They are "cool gloves" as I have been told. I had to modify it a bit for kid size, going down a needle size and taking out the ruffles for the boys but they love them and I used mostly scrap yarn I had laying around. I think I have made every color imaginable! They crochet up very quickly and I love making them, especially when I see how excited the kids get when they get their pair! Thanks again. Your are the best crochet magazine out there and have been my favorite for over 15 years now! You have a little of everything in every issue and that is what I like. Thanks again.

I collected some of your back issues way back in college and you will never know the immense pleasure I had when I discover that there was a magazine that caters to my favorite hobby/craft. During that time I was able to collect all of your 1996 issues. Ijust wanted to let you know how great your magazine is.

On Christmas Eve I told my sister about an idea I had for the new year, to make scarves, lap blankets, bed jackets and shawls for all the residents of one of the poorer nursing homes in our area. She went to her crafts room and returned with 10 scarves she had already made. Her husband volenteered to take the scarves to them right then. This Thursday I learned that the residents fought over them!
